About Leesa

Leesa Ronald
Leesa is an author, tea-drinker and excellent dancer from Orange, NSW. She grew up on a farm in Central West NSW, where she used schoolwork as an excuse to avoid sheepwork. Luckily, her parents indulged her ‘commitment’ to her studies, sparking a lifelong love of words and an enduring fear of hard labour. After studying Media & Communications at the University of Sydney, Leesa worked in magazines before pivoting to corporate communications with all the grace of a D-grade netballer. When she’s not tapping away at her laptop with the footy playing in the background, it must be cricket season. (Joke! She types in front of all forms of sport.) In her spare time, Leesa enjoys painting, reading, running long distances very slowly, and going adventuring (read: getting coffees and paying too much for milkshakes) with her beloved family. Anything to avoid the housework, really.
About the books
POWER MOVES
Camilla 'Millsy' Hatton is a perfectly content workaholic. She's the woman in charge of media for the state's education minister, and every day is a frantic mix of deadlines and damage control. But it's all worth it when there's an election to win.
The only thing standing in her way is Archie Cohen. Back when they were at university together, he was a stone-faced jock. Now, he's the nation's favourite political journalist—aka her work nemesis—and it seems he'll stop at nothing to take down Millsy's boss with his damning headlines.
In their tangled web of media and politics, Millsy and Archie are used to high stakes and high drama. But when their game of cat-and-mouse starts heating up, there's suddenly more to lose than ever before. Millsy starts to has she been doctoring the truth for so long she's forgotten what it looks like?
MATCH FIT
Match Fit is a globetrotting, friends-to-lovers romcom for readers who love Emily Henry's People We Meet on Vacation and Beth O'Leary's The Flatshare.
Ruby Carpenter is fine. Sure, AI has stolen all the best jobs, her fiancé is behaving like a moody grouch, and she's starting a temp role working for Australian Rugby—a sport she knows nothing about—but overall, she's happy. Great, even!
That is, until her relationship implodes and Ruby's left all but homeless with a job she never wanted in the first place.
She needs to get her life back on track, but the glamorous world of international rugby is very distracting. And the English captain, Jake Lavender? He's the most distracting of all
