Edgars Books & News in conjunction with the Wangaratta Library will welcome one of Australia's most loved historical fiction authors, Darry Fraser, this February.
Darry first novel, Daughter of the Murray, is set on her beloved River Murray where she spent part of her childhood. Her second novel, Where the Murray River Runs, is set in Bendigo in the 1890s, and her third novel, The Widow of Ballarat, takes place on the Ballarat goldfields in the 1850s. Her other novels include The Good Woman of Renmark, Elsa Goody Bushranger, The Last Truehart, The Prodigal Sister, The Forthright Woman, The Milliner of Bendigo and her newest novel, The Night on the Darling River (released December 2024).
