Join us at Canberra Grammar School when we welcome award-winning author Will Kostakis to Canberra Grammar School to celebrate the launch of his latest novel! We are excited for Will to introduce us to his debut middle-grade novel Otis Ottley and the School in the Sky.

ABOUT OTIS OTTLEY AND THE SCHOOL IN THE SKY

Otis Ottley is an ordinary boy who yearns to go to the magic school in the sky. And he will stop at nothing to make it happen. A funny and warm middle-grade novel about finding the magic in everyday life, from a much-loved, award-winning Australian author.

Otis Ottley lives in the shadow of the Manor School for Magic. Literally. It's an island hovering over his town, and he's determined to reach it.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Will Kostakis is one of Australia's most renowned authors for kids and young adults. First published at nineteen, he writes whip-smart comedies that break (then mend) hearts. His recent young adult novel, We Could Be Something is a moving family epic that won the 2024 Prime Minister's Literary Award for Young Adult Literature. Otis Ottley and the School in the Sky is his middle grade debut.

This event is located in the Senior School Library at Canberra Grammar School.

Free parking is available, entry via Gate 1, 40 Monaro Crescent, Red Hill. Once parked, follow signs to the Snow Concert Hall. The Senior School Library is located on Level 1, accessible via the lift. View map.
