Revised Authorship Policy - Information session for researchers
Event description
UOW Researchers (staff and students) are invited to join this online information session which will outline the key changes to the UOW Authorship Policy, Authorship Acknowledgement Procedure and Authorship Dispute Resolution Procedure. The new policy documents were released in August 2024 with UOW's Authorship policy suite now more closely aligned with national guidelines and current best practice.
Join this event to gain an understanding of the policy changes in relation to:
- what constitutes authorship
- when an acknowledgement may be more appropriate
- the responsibilities of authors
- the process for resolving a dispute and where to seek assistance
- the requirement to disclose use of generative artificial intelligence
The information session will be delivered via zoom with details to be provided in a separate email / meeting invitation.
The session will be recorded with a link provided to all those who register. Please register for this session to access the recording.
