Autumn Equinox 2022 - Online Ceremony

ABOUT THE CEREMONY

The Autumn Equinox is a cosmic portal of time, where the sun beams onto the equator, and night and day are of equal lengths in all parts of the earth.

It is a very special time to tune into balance, harmony, and also to the changing seasons. It is a time of transition where we pay our respects to the abundance and harvest of Summer and prepare for the dormant depths of Winter.

The Autumn Equinox ceremony allows us the opportunity to honour our alignment with nature but also remembering we are part of the cosmos and therefore bringing these two aspects into harmony.

Ancient traditions understood the power of this portal and the importance of ceremony for the divine blessings of prosperity and abundance throughout winter and the coming year. It also has a lot of power to anchor your spiritual development and divine connection to everything around you.

WHO WILL BE HOSTING

Your host, Melinda Kalac, has spent time living in South America, learning the ways traditional cultures celebrated this unique cosmic event and she was fortunate to participate in ceremonies there, honouring Mother Earth and remembering our connection to nature. She has continued to study Pranic Healing, Tibetan Buddishm, Astrology and Plant Medicine and brings this wisdom into all her events and retreats. Her partner Stuart McLean who has been practising healing for over 20 years, will also help to facilitate the ceremony.

We also welcome a special guest for this event, Deborah Quirke, to channel light language. She is a Psychic Kinesiologist and brings a wealth of knowledge and spiritual power to this event.

WHAT TO BRING

This is an online event however we recommend that you....

- wear comfortable clothes. Most of the event will be seated. 

- bring small offerings of gratitude: flowers, seeds, tabacco, chocolate, incense, tea, coffee etc.

- a journal and pen

- a bottle of water to have handy

- a candle to light

HOW TO PREPARE

- Shower or cleanse in fresh water

- Smudge with incense or energetically heal yourself before hand

- Connect into country from where you are with respect and reverence to the traditional owners, ancestors and elders of the land (please research the name of the country of where you are)

- We ask that you bring an offering or many offerings of gratitude: flowers, water, seeds, fruit, cacao etc

- We ask that you think about what you would like to give up that is no longer serving you as we head into Winter 2022

- Be conscious of where the East/North/South/West directions are from where you will be sitting for the ceremony

- We prefer that you do not eat a heavy meal before hand and have something prepared for grounding afterwards.
