It's the equinox and what a wonderful time to dance the edge of light and dark. We transition towards cooler climes and longer nights, movements are solid and earthed, breath is warming fluid and natural. We dance this change on the floor, reflect on what summer has given us and slide into the next season. Conscious dance can offer depth and lightness, pleasure as well as a soothing balm for discomfort, all you have to do is dance your dance.

This free form practice invites you to dance like no one is watching, to delve under the layers of holding and resistance and set your inner dancer free. Though we come to dance in ecstasy and have a great time if you are open to feeling it all, the good and the not so good, then letting your self go will allow you to creatively express your inner world and have a fuller experience.

The dance floor becomes a space for connection and shared aspirations, for a community to grow together and share in precious moments of ecstasy and authentic presence.

The Dancing Dhevas community is a group dedicated to dancing with passion and authenticity, there is no talking and yet so much is communicated on the dance floor. Dance your dance as no one else can do it for you.

No right or wrong and no set moves, open up to a world of possibilities beyond your imagination, with you, the dance floor and great music.

6:30 to 9pm, DOORS SHUT at 7:00 no entry after then.

Bring a water bottle, turn off phones and remove shoes before entering the dance floor.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
Request a refund or ticket transfer to another event upto 24hrs before the event. There are no refunds within 24hrs of the event.

No mobile phones, no photography, no Shazam, please respect dancers, be present to the group as they are to you.

No shoes or talking on the dance floor.

First time to DANCING DHEVAS...

Dancing Dhevas is a free form dance practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.

Conscious dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in the moment.

Bring a water bottle.

We dance bare foot so we can open and ground our feet, the roots of our dance.

No talking on the dance floor, verbal chatter distracts you and others from this active meditation, if you feel you must talk take it outside of the hall.
