Autumn Equinox Gathering - Ecodyeing and Nature Connection Walk.

Join us, Earthstar Magic & Ammie Plantwhisperer, as we gather in nature to welcome this significant point in the turning of the Wheel of the Year - Autumn Equinox! This is the point in time when day is equal to night. A time for calling in balance, the second of the harvest festivals and a time when we see the fruits of our hard labour.

We will gather in nature, 10 mins outside of Creswick, Victoria to connect not only with this point in the Wheel, but also to connect in deeply with the landscape and natural environment. We will share a cosmic weather report with you, drawing attention to the seasons and cycles and what is happening astrologically at the time of our gathering.

You will then be guided through an eco dyeing process by Earthstar, where you will create a unique, one of a kind eco printed woven silk scarf using locally foraged plants and leaves. These scarves will hold the memory of our time together and this potent point in the wheel. We have the opportunity to look at this as a big spell crafting - what is it that we need to let go of to bring balance to our lives? 

The second part of our gathering is a guided nature connection walk with Ammie Plantwhisperer. You will explore the natural forest environment and discover the local flora and fauna, as well as information on how to cultivate a deeper connection with wild spaces.

We will then return to the campfire for a warm cuppa and some lunch (please BYO picnic).

After lunch Ammie & Earthstar will take you on a Shamanic Drum Journey to connect with one of your Higher Guides to receive a message about this significant point in the turning of the wheel.

This will be followed by more opportunities to share information and create connections before revealing our unique pieces of wearable art!

All materials for eco dyeing are provided, including a silk noil scarf. Participants are welcome to bring along any leaves or flowers that hold significance to them to include in the eco dyeing process. Trusting that they may not leave a physical imprint - but will leave an energetic one.

What to bring:

🌿 A picnic lunch

🌿 A picnic blanket or similar to lie on during our drum journey

🌿 Something to transport your wet scarf home in

🌿Dress for the weather, sturdy footwear essential

The location is a picnic ground 10 mins drive from Creswick - exact location provided on booking. Long drop toilets available.

Please aim to arrive a little early, so we can start on time, and you have a chance to breathe in the fresh air and soak up the beauty of the location.

This gathering takes place on the lands of the Dja Dja Wurrung.
