Autumn School Holiday Program
Event description
Join the Ginninderry Conservation Trust rangers these school holidays for a time of exploration and fun! This hands-on program designed for children aged 7-12 connects them with nature whilst also teaching them the importance of environmental conservation.
Over two exciting days, children will engage in a variety of outdoor activities led by our experienced rangers. These activities include nature walks along the Ginninderry Conservation Corridor walking tracks, wildlife spotting, singing songs, creating art with nature based materials, and more. Children will also get to learn about the interesting ecosystems, native plant and animal species, and the current conservation efforts underway in the area.
We’re thrilled to also have Cristy from Curious Kids join us, bringing along some special critters! Cristy will introduce the children to her amazing blue-tongue lizard and stick insects, providing a unique opportunity to learn about these fascinating creatures up close.
