Ava Chat Ride - Daisy Hill

Venue:  Daisy Hill Forrest 

Date: Tuesday, 4th March

Time: Sign On - 9:00am - Ride Out - 9.30am

Duration:  2.5 hours

Food:  Bring your own morning tea. Lunch (salad rolls / cold meats) will be provided at a cost of $6 pp (included in your ticket price)

Bring Own: Halter and Lead Rope

Terrain:  A moderate ride with a fair bit of shade. Mostly soft ground with some part’s being rocky terrain, shod/boots or seasoned barefoot would be okay. No horse drinking water on the trail, so recommend bringing own water. 

BYO saddlebag for morning tea on the trail, bring plenty of drinking water, Lunch back at the floats.

Float Parking: On John Markwell Parade, opposite houses 16 - 32.  Please bring own poo bag as you are required to take your own horse poo home.

Ribbons: Green- New, nervous or unsure horses /   Red - Kickers, or may kick

ATHRA: - recommends the following;

-  Riders under 18 must wear an approved helmet

-  It is recommended that riders wear full length trousers and sleeved shirts.  Suitable smooth soled riding footwear

-  Saddlebag for food / water

-  No dogs on ride
