Galari-River Arts Forbes Inc & Club Forbes are excited to offer FREE Screenings of Avarice with Q&A Session Featuring Forbes Filmmaker Dane Millerd

Fans of action thrillers are in for a treat as two special free screenings of Avarice will take place on Sunday 13 April 2025. The screenings, at 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, will be followed by a Q&A session with the film’s writer, local journalist, filmmaker, and screenwriter, Dane Millerd.

Starring Australian star Gillian Alexy (The Americans) and acclaimed actor Luke Ford (known for his role in Animal Kingdom), Avarice is a gripping action thriller filmed on location in Australia in 2022. The film follows a tense and high-stakes narrative, filled with twists and turns, sure to captivate audiences from start to finish.

Local talent behind the film, Dane Millerd, who wrote and developed the screenplay, will be available for a post-screening Q&A, providing insight into the creative process and sharing behind-the-scenes stories from the making of the film.
