Avonside Girls' High School Centenary

In June of 2028 Avonside Girls' High School turns 100!

We invite you to celebrate our two day event starting  Friday evening with canapes and drinks on the 2nd June 2028. Then on Saturday 3rd June, we will have a number of events during our day of celebration at our new school site.

Saturday Event

9am Registration opens

9.30am Welcome

Then wander around to enjoy:

• School tours

• Kapa Haka performances

• Pasifika performances

• Historical displays

• Interactive displays

• Sports games

• School bands

Decade photos 11am - 2pm

All events repeat in the afternoon, so you are welcome to come in the morning or afternoon if you prefer.

Refreshments and lunchboxes available 11am - 2pm

Day concludes at 4pm
