An AVP Basic workshop can help you:

The Basic AVP workshop focuses on self-awareness, attitudes and skills which help resolve conflicts. Step-by-step experiences and exercises explore:

Affirmation – building self-esteem and trust
Community Building – establishing and nurturing connections with others in a group
Communication – improving both listening skills and assertive methods of expression
Co-operation – developing co-operative attitudes that avoid competitive conflicts
Trust – developing confidence to share and to change
Creative Conflict Transformation – getting in touch with our inner power to transform situations and ourselves

PLEASE NOTE: the workshop is 9:15 am to 2:30 pm on Tuesday 3, 10 AND 17 September. You need to attend all three days. While the venue is a school, this workshop is for adults, not students of the school.

Lunch is provided (including vegetarian and halal food).

The workshop is free but a tax deductible donation helps us cover our costs. Because the workshop is held on the grounds of a school, you will need to provide your full name and a form of ID. If you can, we ask you provide a current working with children check.
