AVP Basic 18-hour Workshop, Online (February 2025)

This workshop is all online via Zoom and is offered by AVP Sydney, Australia.

An AVP Basic workshop can help you:

• Communicate more effectively in difficult situations
• Handle conflict more confidently
• Manage strong emotions safely
• Become a better partner, parent, friend, colleague

The Basic AVP workshop focuses on self-awareness, attitudes and skills which help resolve conflicts. Step-by-step experiences and exercises explore:

• Affirmation – building self-esteem and trust
• Community Building – establishing and nurturing connections with others in a group
• Communication – improving both listening skills and assertive methods of expression
• Co-operation – developing co-operative attitudes that avoid competitive conflicts
• Trust – developing confidence to share and to change
• Creative Conflict Transformation – getting in touch with our inner power to transform situations and ourselves

Sessions time — all times in Sydney, Australia time [and Coordinated Universal Time (UTC)]. You need to attend all the sessions:

• Friday 14 Feb — from 6:15pm – 9:30pm (Sydney) [UTC Fri 8:15am – 11:30am]
• Saturday 15 Feb — from 12:00 pm – 3:00pm and 4:30 pm-7:30pm (Sydney) [UTC Sat 1:00 am – 4:00am and 5:30 am-8:30am]
• Sunday 16 Feb — from 12:00 pm – 3:00pm and 4:30 pm-7:30pm (Sydney) [UTC Sun 1:00 am – 4:00am and 5:30 am-8:30am]
• Monday 17 Feb — from 6:15pm – 9:30pm (Sydney) [UTC Mon 8:15am – 11:30am]
