CASA’s AvSafety Advisors will be heading into your community to deliver our safety seminar for pilots of all licence categories: “Emergency handling and checklist use”.
This presentation will help pilots understand the correct priorities during emergency scenarios.
We will discuss emergency handling and the correct use of checklists.
Case studies will be used to highlight key areas in effective handling of abnormal situations.
The session will also look at considerations for maintenance of engine O ring seals and will examine the recent Safety Advisory Notice issued to address potential safety issues associated with those seals.
