A Community Experience of Musical Healing and Connection

Join us for an enchanting evening of music, meditation, and community connection on Friday, 16 May, from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, with optional jamming afterwards. Through sacred sound, gentle movement, and shared song, we’ll nurture our spirit and deepen our connection with ourselves and one another.

🌿 What to Expect:

🧘 Meditation & Qigong
Begin the evening with guided meditation and gentle Qigong movement to ground your energy, calm the mind, and open the heart.

🎶 Spiritual Song Circle
At the heart of the evening lies our Awake Song Circle – a shared experience of singing spiritual songs and mantras from Native American, Buddhist, Hindu, and other sacred traditions. These soul-stirring songs are easy to follow and deeply moving – no singing experience needed. Come as you are, add your voice to the circle, and feel the collective resonance. Bring your medicine drums, rattles, your favourite spiritual songs to share, if you feel called.

🔔 Sound Healing Journey
Let go and receive as you're immersed in the healing vibrations of gong, handpan, Native American flute, shamanic medicine drum, and chimes. This deeply relaxing soundscape will support emotional release, inner stillness, and energetic balance.

🎵 Community Jam (Optional)
To close the night, we’ll open the space for freeform jamming. Bring your instruments, your rhythm, your joy – and let’s create music together.

🌸 What to Bring:

Comfortable clothing for movement and relaxation
A water bottle (Awake Water provided – FREE)
A cushion and mat to sit and lie on
Optional: Musical instruments or a spiritual song to share
Optional: A healthy vegetarian dish to contribute

🎤 About Your Facilitators:

Anisha is a sound healer, Qigong practitioner, educator, and student of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Native American healing practices. She plays a variety of instruments including the handpan, Native American flute, shamanic medicine drum, ukulele, and Guzheng, and shares spiritual songs from the heart. Her work bridges ancient wisdom and modern healing through sound and movement.

Erica Martins is a Brazilian-born multi-instrumentalist based in Brisbane. A passionate guitarist and percussionist, she shares sacred music and mantras in ceremonial and healing spaces, drawing from her deep roots in Brazilian traditions. Erica is known for holding warm, grounded spaces in women’s and mantra circles across Australia and Brazil. Her music is an offering—from the heart, for the soul.
