Meet Kai:
Kai loves creating beautiful, nurturing spaces where others feel safe to release, receive, and enjoy. Often found at the beach or the Hangatahua River, she draws inspiration from the pockets of peace and flow she finds there. She endeavours to bring those same qualities into how she engages with the world and the people around her.
She expresses her creativity through a range of mediums and modalities, including printmaking, knitting, jewellery making, dance/movement, and gardening.
Kai's work as a practitioner is a collaboration with each individual on the table. Through observation and intuition, she listens to the body, adjusting pressure, strokes, and techniques as needed to allow deep relaxation, rejuvenation, and release for body and mind.
Meet Tineke:
A facilitator of yoga classes and retreats for over 10 years, Tineke understands firsthand how powerful and healing it is when women gather. These conscious moments of connection help us to remember the power of weaving magic and creativity into everyday life.
As a Cancer sun and Leo moon, Tineke is bound by the light and dark that permeates this earth, flowing between her external vibrant creative self and her inner cat-like personality, the one that loves nothing more than curling up with a fantasy novel and a cup of tea.
She expresses her creativity through a range of modalities, from more formal work in graphic design, photography and copywriting, to hands-on projects like ceramics, mandala painting, and dance/movement. For Tineke, each creative art is a ritual, a way to stay present and still her mind, one she has used to manage her mental health throughout her life.
