7 Day Awakening Joy Challenge
Event description
Register before 11:55pm Friday 17th!
** Breaking** and special guest, James Baraz will join our morning call on Wednesday 22 September.
Joy seems elusive, short lived, separate from the everyday especially THESE days.
Sometimes you get glimpses of it, but it doesn't stay. When you try to cultivate or hold onto happiness it’s more superficial than you’d imagined.
It’s hard to carve space for joy with all the suffering in the world. You find satisfaction and a sense of purpose helping your community/home/the world, but then it’s easy to get lost in this important work.
It’s tempting to give up…. Is it possible to have joy in these times?
YES - well-being is possible despite everything - we don’t have to make radical changes.
There's magic in resting down, tuning in, finding space and hanging out.
This 7 Day Awakening Joy Challenge delivered online over Zoom will offer simple practices each day to nourish your body and mind and open us to the hidden snippets of joy scattered, like fairy lights, through each day.
“Thank you for opening my eyes to the multitude of Joy that surrounds me”. 2021 Awakening Joy course participant.
The Challenge starts on Saturday 18th September 3pm – 5pm AEST then we meet again on Sunday 19th September 3pm – 5pm AEST
From Monday 20th September – Thursday 23rd Sep we'll gather in the morning and evening: 8am – 8.45am and 8pm – 8.45pm AEST
The Challenge delivered online over Zoom will close on Friday 24th September 9.30 – 11.30am AEST. This is the Grand Final Holiday in Victoria.
We invite you to incorporate practices into your regular (lockdown) lives. Before work and after dinner. And 2 hours on 3 weekend days.
Awakening Joy has supported 24,000 people in 30 countries to find resilience and authentic joy.
