Free the Magical Child: An Invitation for Kids of all Ages

Discover nature in a new way and enjoy this fresh approach to healthy family and friends activities held in a wild natural garden, just outside of Fredericksburg.  

Enjoy a short walk to a bold stream and beautiful lagoon where you will attune your senses and follow your natural attractions wandering where they lead you.  These days will be filled with a variety of adventures.  Come and try gold panning, along Horsepen Run.  Did you know that this is one of 2 streams in Virginia where you can actually find GOLD!  

Discover clay deposits and fashion and fire your own clay creations.  Build balancing rock art as you wander along the stream, collect stones for your own zen garden take-away.  

Darlene will help you deepen into the communion with the forest, and coming to your senses you will discover an ever fascinating beauty of form and color that entrances you, as you explore along the stream side.  Follow your natural attractions and take some solo time to discover your own path, inner and outer.   

Starting with a guided walk you will then be allowed to listen to your own inner flow.  Then we will come back together to share and enjoy more contemplative art experiences.  

This is a great way to spend a few hours and really de-stress and fill up with Vitamin N.  Nature is the healer we need, at this time.

The objective of this event is to allow adults to let their inner child out to play and for children to find their Zen, through fun simple nature activities. All participants may make and take their beautiful creation.

Earthwalk ways is offering a series of these day trips along Enchanting Run.  Bring a picnic lunch.
