Awe-Inspiring SA Marine Life Virtual Reality Experience!
Event description
Want to experience the incredible diversity of marine life within our oceans and sanctuaries? Join us in celebrating Encounter Marine Park for Park of the Month with an awe-inspiring virtual reality experience.
While many in our community are currently feeling the impacts of the recent algal bloom, this event offers a chance to reconnect with the wonder, beauty, and resilience of our marine environments.
Using immersive Virtual Reality technology, you can now go face-to-face with some of South Australia's most iconic and fascinating marine creatures.
Developed by Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries (EMS), you can dive into watching whale migrations, playing with sea lions and enjoying the beautiful Australian endemic Leafy Seadragon in the comfort of City of Onkaparinga's Studio 20 Youth Centre.
The event will be run in 30-minute sessions. Pick the session which works best for you and please arrive 5 minutes before your session start time, so you are ready to go. If the sessions book out, we will open additional time slots so please register your interest so we can contact you about availability.
This event is aimed at children aged 8 years and over, who must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This event is brought to you by Experiencing Marine Sanctuaries, City of Onkaparinga, and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
