Description
Come along and learn more about emergency management structures in NSW. Regional Emergency Management Officer Glenn Byrnes will give an overview of the NSW Emergency Management Plan and the role of Functional Areas in supporting combat agencies and emergency operations. We will hear from two of NSW's Functional Areas, Stef Bock, Manager Telecommunication and Emergency Management Unit, NSW Telco Authority (TELCOFA) and Jamie Caldwell, Director Energy Operations at the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (EUSFA) who will give us an overview of their agency's roles and responsibilities when disaster occur in NSW.
