Course Inclusions

Your registration includes catered meals throughout the course, ensuring you stay fuelled and focused while you train in demanding alpine and remote environments.

Accommodation

Accommodation at Apira Ski Lodge, from the night of Sunday 6th through to Thursday 10th day is included in your course fees offering comfortable alpine-style dorm with ensuite lodging conveniently located for course activities throughout the day and evening. This option allows participants to stay close to the training environment while enjoying the mountain setting.

Exam & Certificate

The AWLS exam and certificate is taken and supplied directly with University of Utah - there is an additional fee in USD for the exam to be paid by the student directly at the time of the test. The fee is flexible in what you pay and can vary between $0 USD - $60USD

Refund policy

At RescueMED, significant planning, instructor scheduling, venue bookings, and course resources are committed well in advance of every course. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both participants and our team. More than 3 months before the course start date: If you cancel your registration more than three (3) months prior to the course commencement date, you will receive a full refund less a $100 AUD/NZD administration fee. Between 2 and 3 months before the course start date: If you cancel your registration between two (2) and three (3) months prior to the course commencement date, you will receive a refund of 75% of the total course fee. The remaining 25% is retained to cover administrative and course preparation costs. Within 2 months of the course start date: If you cancel your registration within two (2) months of the course commencement date, no refund will be provided. However, RescueMED may, at its sole discretion, issue a course credit equal to the amount paid. This credit: • May be used towards a future RescueMED course; • May be transferred to another participant with prior written approval from RescueMED; and • Is not redeemable for cash or a refund. Course Transfers Requests to transfer to another course date are treated as cancellations and are subject to the same terms outlined above. Approval of transfers is at the discretion of RescueMED and subject to course availability. Cancellation by RescueMED Should RescueMED cancel a course due to insufficient enrolments, instructor availability, weather, or other unforeseen circumstances, participants will be offered the choice of: • A full refund of all course fees paid; or • A transfer of their enrolment to another available course date. RescueMED is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including but not limited to travel, accommodation, insurance, or other personal expenses. Exceptional Circumstances We understand that unexpected situations can arise. Requests for consideration outside of this policy may be submitted in writing and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Any exception remains entirely at the discretion of RescueMED.
