AXIS SYLLABUS with NUVOLA VANDINI
Event description
This one-day intensive workshop explores the fundamental architecture of the human body through movement. Participants will discover the underlying principles of bodily structure and motion, beginning with essential coordinations like walking, pivoting, jumping, and floor work. These foundational patterns gradually evolve into dance motifs practiced as a group. The day weaves together focused body-work, creative improvisation (both solo and group), and the study of choreographic sequences.
The Axis Syllabus
The Axis Syllabus is an evolving archive of movement knowledge that bridges scientific research with practical movement applications. Founded by dancer-researcher Frey Faust, this comprehensive system provides neutral, adaptable tools for understanding movement in any context. The archive continues to grow through the contributions of an active research community.
