African Youth Initiatives Centres -Sydney presents a series of monthly community experiences designed for cultural connection through storytelling & creative workshops.

SATURDAY 9TH AUGUST

EVENT SCHEDULE

12:00 PM: POP-UP LIBRARY CAFE -'UNCOVERED'

-Find a book from our collection of stories by Black Authors from around the world.

1:30 PM: ETHIOPIAN COFFEE CEREMONY (2 SESSIONS)

-Learn about the origins of Coffee in an African story telling format

-Experience an Ethiopian Coffee Ceremony

-Listen to music from a selection of African Vinyl records

3:00 PM: CREATIVE WORKSHOP

-Connect with Community through an Artist Workshop facilitated by Guest Visual Artist Emmanuel Asante
