We’re excited to invite you to the 2025 B Better Purpose Virtual Summit hosted by Grow Good in celebration of B Corp Month. Over two engaging days, we will explore how businesses can drive positive change and create lasting impact through the power of purpose-driven business practices.

This virtual summit will feature a dynamic lineup of workshops, panel discussions, and exclusive interviews with B Corp leaders and pioneers who are reshaping industries and changing the way business is done. Whether you’re new to B Corp or well on your way, this summit will provide valuable knowledge, actionable insights, and inspiration to help you create a more sustainable and inclusive future for your business.

During the event, you’ll hear from a diverse group of business leaders about their experiences with B Corp certification, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the lessons they’ve learned along the way. You’ll also gain a deeper understanding of the B Corp movement, what it takes to become certified, and the powerful impact that purpose-driven businesses can have on people, the planet, and profit.

Day 1 - Wednesday 19th March

Session 1 – Interview with Ben Lenart - Founder of Almighty Beverages 

Ben Lenart is the founder and director of Almighty Beverages, which he launched in 2015 in Wellington, New Zealand. With a background in hospitality—including the creation of Wellington’s beloved Milk Crate café—Ben transitioned into the beverage industry to craft conscious, clean drinks made from organic produce. Under his leadership, Almighty has expanded from cold-pressed juices to a diverse range of beverages, including flavored sparkling waters and the recently launched Active range. Committed to sustainability and community impact, Almighty uses recyclable packaging and supports Edible Education programs, helping kids learn to grow and cook healthy food.

Session 2 – Interactive Workshop: 2B or Not 2B - The What, Why, and How of B Corp Certification – Tim Jones

Kick off the summit with an engaging, interactive session hosted by Tim Jones, founder of Grow Good, NZ’s first B Corp consultancy. In this workshop, Tim will introduce you to the B Corp movement, covering:

• What B Corp is and why it’s crucial for businesses today
• The value of B Corp certification, not only for your business but also for the world
• How to get certified and the process involved
• Key trends shaping the B Corp movement and how it’s impacting industries

Tim will help demystify the certification process and explain why businesses that embrace B Corp are leading the way toward a more sustainable, responsible future

Session 3 – Fashion Industry Panel: Shaping the Future of Fashion through Sustainability and Purpose

This panel brings together leading fashion brands that are using their platform to promote positive change. We’ll hear from industry leaders about how becoming B Corp certified has transformed their approach to sustainability, ethics, and social responsibility. Panelists include:

Session 4 – Interactive Workshop: Bringing Purpose to Life in Your Business – Tim Jones

Purpose is the foundation of every B Corp, but how do you turn that purpose into action? In this workshop, Tim will show you how to embed purpose into your operations, ensuring it becomes a driving force in every aspect of your business. You’ll learn:

• How to align your operations with your purpose and core values
• Practical strategies for embedding purpose in every department, from marketing to HR
• Real-world examples of companies that have successfully implemented purpose-driven practices
• How doing so can improve both your business and the world around you

This session will leave you with the tools to take your business’s purpose from concept to action.

Session 5 – The B Corp Journey: OG B Corps to Newly Certified B Corps

Join us for a discussion about the evolution of B Corp certification, from New Zealand’s first B Corps to the latest businesses to achieve certification. Panelists will share their experiences, highlighting the changing landscape of B Corp standards and how businesses can navigate the process today. Panelists include:

Session 6 – 1-1 Interview with Andrew Garnsworthy - CEO Pedal Group

Andrew Garnsworthy is the Chief Executive Officer of Pedal Group Pty Ltd, overseeing operations for 99 Bikes retail stores and Advance Traders wholesalers across Australia and New Zealand.  Under his leadership, the company achieved B Corp certification in 2024, reflecting a strong commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) standards. Garnsworthy emphasizes using business as a force for good and aims for continuous improvement in ESG performance.  Based in Brisbane, Queensland, he has a background in finance and operations, having previously served as Chief Financial Officer and General Manager in various organizations.

Event Details

The summit will be streamed live via Zoom, YouTube and Facebook, giving attendees the opportunity to engage with the sessions and ask questions.
