Event description

We warmly welcome you to join us for a:

Down Syndrome NSW Babies Day Event

Calling all mums/dads/carers of babies/toddlers aged 0-2 years who have Down syndrome.

We warmly welcome you to come along to our Babies Day event where you can meet other parents/carers for an informal get-together to network, socialise and enjoy lunch.

Mums and Dads who have journeyed the path of parenting a child who has Down syndrome will be in attendance to offer their perspective and encouragement.  This event will also include the opportunity to learn from professionals on a range of subjects including keyword sign language, breastfeeding and occupational therapy...and importantly what an OT would do and how to get connected to these services.

Part of what we do at Down Syndrome NSW is to give families an opportunity to meet with other families as this is so important for our members to build connections within our community.

If you have other young children and wish for them to attend, of course they are welcome.  We will have limited child-minding and activities for siblings.  Please register all family members (including the ages of all children) attending so we can accommodate and cater to everyone's needs.
