Baby Eliana Kira

Eliana Kira, is the daughter of former Philippines YCW fulltime worker, Jho Letada and her husband.

Now ten months old, Eliana only weighs 4.6kg as a result of her medical condition, including a hole in the heart that is continuing to get larger.

Her doctors have now informed the parents that surgery is now becoming urgent.

But the 800,000 to 1,000,000 Philippine pesos ($19,500 to 24,500 AUD) cost is out of their reach.

On top of that there will be further treatment costs.

And so we - the Australian Cardijn Institute and the Cardijn Community Australia - are launching this campaign along with our colleagues from the worldwide Cardijn network.
