Baby Loss Webinars for Māori Midwives and Students
Event description
Māori midwives and midwifery students are invited to attend our free webinars covering aspects of baby loss. Led by Pania Mitchell, BSW (Ngaruhine ki Taranaki, Ngati Rakaipaka ki Nuhaka, Te Aitanga o Hauti ki Tologa Bay), we will be talking about postmortem, about what to say and not say when supporting a whānau when a baby dies, and how to support a whānau when they receive an unexpected diagnosis in pregnancy.
We hold the same webinar twice in a week (on a Wednesday morning and a Thursday evening) to make it easy to attend. The webinars take place on Zoom and are one hour long. We send out the Zoom details in an email at the start of the first week. For more information, see www.vca.co.nz or contact Vicki on 021-776436 or vicki@vca.co.nz
