Back on the Dance Floor - Groove for Good

ADELAIDE - WE’RE GETTING BACK ON THE DANCE FLOOR 🪩

If you were dancing in Adelaide in the ’80, 90s or Naugties💃🏼, you’ll remember those busy nights. Flitting from one venue to the other.....The General Havelock, The Norwood, The Royal, Planet, Heaven.....

Doesn't matter where you went, the beats were incredible. The dance floors were packed and we danced for hours getting hot and immersed in the sounds that became our youth. 

Now many of us are in our 30s,40s & 50s—and somewhere along the way, we lost the places where we could simply go out and dance freely, and be ourselves.

So this October, I’m bringing the dance floor back.  DJ Leah will be on the decks, bringing the beats and all the right vibes.

As an ambassador for @Centreforcancerbiology and @thehospitalresearchfoundation it’s time to combine all the things I love doing!

Dancing, bringing others together and raising money for really important causes that create a legacy and a better future that will live on for others.

We’re taking over a beautiful gin distillery in Adelaide for an intimate, women-only disco—and there will be room for just 100 women!! So grab your tickets quick, we WILL sell out!

Drinks at the bar, Food Truck out front, we will cater for everyone.

Of course, this night will move our bodies to the music we all love, and we'll raise money for breast cancer research, a cause that is deeply personal to me.  But I also want it to give something back to the women of Adelaide. Mothers bring your daughters and share with all of your breast cancer survivor friends; Given the stats we have, I know that you have these friends in your circle 😉

A safe, joyful space to gather your old dancing friends, get dressed up, let your hair down and dance to the tunes that bring all those wonderful memories flooding back.  This is our first disco, but I hope it will become an annual event that grows bigger—and raises more—every year.

So find the women who shared those dance floors with you, reopen the group chat and save the date:
