Back on Your Bike Workshop - 9 November
Event description
Rediscover the joy of cycling in this free session led by Pedal Set Go, bike education experts. This course is for people who have not ridden in a while and would like to refresh their riding skills and iron out their wobbles. Build your confidence one step….um, pedal….at a time. Taking place off-street away from traffic, you will learn to start and stop safely. Refine your bike control skills to change gears effectively and signal left and right and enjoy riding in a group whilst having fun. This course will prepare you for recreational riding or the confident city rider course.
The course is intended for adults and children over the age of 12. Children under the age of 18 require an adult supervisor at all times.
Please bring: your roadworthy bike or ebike, correctly fitting Australian/NZ Standard helmet, covered shoes, comfortable clothes, water bottle and wear sunscreen. The workshop will go ahead in light drizzle but will be postponed if heavier rain is forecast.
