Important notification to all 2025 Ticket Holders,

It is with a heavy heart, that the Festival Team for NEW EARTH NZ 2025, and BACK TO PARADISE Fest for Women 2025 have had to make the call to take a HIATUS BREAK for 2025 for both Festivals, and will return in 2026 onwards after percolating sustainable event models.

The organising team was unanimous, that the upfront financial risk for is simply unsustainable for reasons such as:

• the ever rising upfront costs ( higher non refundable deposits/part payments)
  
• Resulting trend across the board of slower/lower festival ticket sales for Festivals since 2023, and very last minute purchases due to weather unpredictablity
  
• The cost of living crisis everyone is faced
  

We honour all existing ticketholders FULL TICKET REFUNDS.

Ticket holders will shortly receive notification via Humanitix that their refund is being processed.

Those contributors that have applied for 2025 will receive an email from NEW EARTH NZ Team as soon as is possible.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to those who have already bought tickets or sent in applications to contribute, as well as those who have supported in the past to create memorable and quality experiences for all.

To keep the spirit alive and for music and nature lovers to enjoy the stunning wonderland site, the organising team will continue to hold the popular co creative style COSMOS alchemical gatherings in 2025.

Again, we are in gratitude for all those that have supported NEW EARTH NZ Visionary & Music Festival and BACK TO PARADISE Fest for Women, and we are looking forward to creating more magic in the future in a way that is sustainable for all.

What is the wise wild woman archetype?

 🧡She is discerning and introspective with a strong womb voice and at one with the life-death-life cycle. She is the female Soul. While the Maiden and Mother could both be characterized as an exhale, the Wild Woman is an inhale bringing retreat, rest, and release.


There will be up to 4 'pillars' of conscious discrete men in support of, and to be of service, who will be on site now and then to check on sound systems, repair anything that may breakdown for us, set up structures etc.

Feedback from women has been that 'having the masculine energy which is also within us, represented in a good way, is wholesome for us and is welcome'

Workshops that involve emotional release for women or sensual expression of the feminine will be held in specific secluded private zones to ensure the freedom of expression for the female participants.


The Fest Team have created this Fest with the loving intention that Woman can have time to retreat and perhaps be able to leave their children in the care of other family members or partners.

However, there may be mother’s with Babies, young toddlers, not able to organise care, and of course mother’s with young teen or adult daughters that are excited to come for mother – daughter time.

So with all this in mind, we have created a framework for children’s tickets – please read the ticket type descriptions so you are aware of the kaupapa.

We are endeavouring to offer a Kids Paradise Zone, this is work in progress.

The Private Land is 20 Minutes north of Kerikeri, 8 minutes from the famous Matauri Bay Beach, 3.5 hours from Auckland, 2.5 hours from Welsford area.
We strongly promote Car Pooling, the RIDE SHARE postings will be incorporated into the FB event page closer to Festival begin

Unplug, as the Festival Arena is WIFI FREE. Reception on the Terrace near the Cottages.

SATURDAY NITE 25 JAN is ' ANCIENT FUTURES GODDESS'  DRESS UPS opportunity !  And for the entire Fest time as you wish - we encourage being your expressive creative Self X
BRING YOUR DRESS UPS or / and LIGHT UP (fairy lights, or other lights ,or glow sticks adornments)– whatever you feel like dressing up in, as Goddessy as possible !!
Wear from 5pm or earlier if you feel like it!

CAMPING
We ask for consideration, and being mindful of tent size and vehicle space consciousness
Size of Tent to reflect number of people  -  Keep your footprint small! No extra gazebos/ awnings - there are tall mature native trees for shade cover - bring a tarp/ropes if you wish to create a small shade space from a tree to your vehicle.

QUIET CAMP  Zone, ideal for those who like it quieter at night (ideal if you do have a child with you), up on the Terrace a 1-2 mins bush walk from the main venue. 2 bush walk accesses - one has steps and the other is a gentle incline with no steps going past the epic large Tree house.

2025 - OUR ZEN DEN community indoor large lounge space on the upper terrace of the Festival grounds is for all Fest Goers, also toilet in this cottage

VEHICLES & PARKING
BACK TO PARADISE is an immersion of 4 days and three nights. Vehicles will be parked close to your tent where possible. Please be considerate of tent size and site space to fit all festival attendees in!
Please follow the parking support crew’s instructions for efficient parking, with kindness, as they have the bigger overview of the parking situation.
Campervans/Buses to park in the designated Campervan area.

As vehicles are parked near tents, there will be no vehicle movements during Festival times once all parked up, from Fri 24 Jan - Mon 27 Jan 2025 except for emergencies (musicians and performers with instruments etc will have communications prior to the Festival as how to access the Green Room space etc via car).

DAY PASS FESTIVAL GOERS (still to be decided for Back to Paradise 2025)

There are some exclusive Day Pass ticket types, and limited space for day parking so please follow the Welcome Desk Team's instructions and ideally carpool. We will park you so you can leave get out easily upon departure.

Please report to INFO tent or HQ first,  if there is an emergency. If it is a medical emergency, you can also go to INFO TENT or to FIRST AID TENT/Van, or/and grab a crew member or anyone with a walkie talkie to assist you.

LEAVE NO TRACE
BACK TO PARADISE Fest is ZERO WASTE SPACE Festival.
Bring your own rubbish bags and remove your rubbish from around your tent etc and when you leave the Festival grounds. You don’t want your tent to be a target for night creatures looking for food!
We are a pure nature clean festival ground and we do not tolerate littering at all.
There will be bins for organic food scraps, flattened clean cardboard collection, for future burning.

SMOKING
Please bring a can with lid to collect your butts / smoking permitted near the large main firepit only. Fire Safety is paramount.
No Smoking in the ancient Forest beyond the River bridge, or on any Bush Walk.Cigarette butts need to be kept in a tin, for fire safety and not for animals to eat!
Please remove butts from festival grounds when you depart - Leave no Trace consciousness!

WEATHER
This is an all weather event (unless a cyclone or extreme rainfall levels , and we would notify in advance should this be the case and whether the event needs to be postponed), we do trust the weather in the sub tropical North to be settled summer weather late January, but you never know!. Bring an umbrella and rain protection clothing just in case. Remember to pack your bug spray, biodegradable sun tan lotion.

MONEY
Bring plenty of  CASH! Some very limited or no offline EFTPOS facilities with some market stalls, food vendors or healers. No ATM in the area. Limited money changing possible at HQ cottage on the Terrace. There will be a CASH OUT Service at HQ at set times, People can transfer a sum of money into the Festival Event Bank Account (wifi signal at HQ) forward the screenshot to the Staff there, then they will receive the cash. Limited funds and limit on dollar amount to be release in this circulation system.

INFO TENT /CAMPERVAN
This space is to ask questions, report anything of concern or missing. HQ: Lower Cottage up on the Terrace, main organisers and some crew will be there. Any workshops with limited number entries will be listed there, and other updates, lost & found.

Our Volunteer Crew/Heart Ambassadors are constantly circulating during the Festival - they are super helpful and friendly so can be approached if any questions, or situations arise that may need notifying or sharing. X

WIFI
The venue and camping space is white zone low EMF land, beneficial for your health and well being and deeper sleep.  -  No WIFI Unplug and connect to yourself, others and nature, call your family & friends before you arrive!
Switch off your phone or put it on flight mode or extreme battery save mode to preserve your battery charge. The land is at the edge of cellular coverage – very limited Vodafone signal in the upper terraces/we also have a hotpot to connect to.

PLEASE avoid walking to top of the festival entry driveway to do calls after 5pm and if possible not at all, as it may be disturbing for the neighbour there and also the cows in the paddocks at the Farm adjacent. Thank you for your understanding.

PLAN for 'an OFF the Grid' Event!

For emergencies or anyone requiring emotional or other support, see Crew the INFO Tent/ or HQ .

There is also an Integration tent in the Healing Glade area amoungst the team of reputable Healers and Wellness Practitioners. The Tent is designed for those wishing to spend some time resting, choosing an oracle card etc and it is close to the easy access to the spring fed river which is great to sit on a rock and dip your feet and legs into or splash water on your face.

CHILDRENS TICKETS
Children's tickets, as specified in the ticket types,  cannot be bought without adult tickets. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a legal female guardian or mother, and must be cared for/supervised on site at all times.

As this is rural land, there are some natural hazards like the river and the spring water bathing pond so children need to be supervised by their parents or guardian.

The Festival Visitors Agreement will be emailed out to all Adult and Youth Ticket Holders.

COMPOSURE
We are creating a peaceful, harmonious space for people to unite, connect, play and dance and express themselves creatively. Any offensive behaviour will result in possible removal from the festival site, if conscious communication does not effect a change.
Please respect peoples space, be mindful when navigating the crowd, communicate consent before entering someone's personal/physical space.

Consent: Please respect people's Energy Field by asking them first, 'would you like a hug' before giving out hugs, respecting how the receiver is feeling at the time. Should the person respond with a 'no thanks, or not at the moment' please do not take this personally and rather accept their boundaries at that time.

Report to the INFO tent if any concerns or observations that require attention from the Festival Team.

Festival & Volunteer Heart Ambassador Crew will be easily identifiable.

OPEN MIC SPACE - after 10.30pm nights. Forest Stage, by day for poetry readings/ Kirtan / by night transforms into the COSMIC PORTAL late night drum and percussion space. No backing tracks permitted, loop pedals ok.

* Your admission pass or ticket to the Festival downloaded to your phone or printed out. It must be previously downloaded as there is no WIFI at the Welcome Desk area!
* Valid Photo ID, eg Driver’s Licence, Passport or Student ID – the name on your ID must match your entry pass.
* Tent or vehicle to sleep in – please keep your footprint small and be conscious of the size of your vehicle or tent as to the ratio of people
* Rubbish Bag – We are ZERO WASTE SPACE. Please bring a box to remove your recycling in.
* Sleeping mat or air mattress/ sleeping bag/ pillow/ blanket(s)
* Head torch (ideally with red light function) /torch with extra batteries /
* Rain jacket/umbrella
* warm jacket or shawl for night time just in case
* picnic mat
* Sun protection – hat, sunscreen, nz sun is powerful / Organic sun lotion will be on Sale
* Bug Spray
* Family first aid kit with plasters
* water bottle – non-glass please
* This is a cash only festival  - Bring plenty!
* Plate, Mug/Cup and cutlery – all meals and beverages from food vendors will be served on your plates/mugs. Your tea towel and bio degradable dish wash liquid, scourers, dish cloths, pegs, washing line.
* We encourage you to support the food vendors selling breakfast, lunch, dinner, late night snacks and beverages at reasonable prices
* What you need to cook for yourself (you may not need any as there is delicious food on offer at the food stalls!)
* All other personal items you need for camping/ medication/toiletries
* Bathing togs as river is perfect for a soak
* We promote the spring fed river to be used instead of showering, please use bio degradable shower gels very sparingly if needed at all - the water is very soft and we need to look after it!!

* Please bring your loving and positive vibes to share with everyone and feel free to co create the experience of NEW EARTH NZ
* Bathing towels, shower towels
* Yoga mat, cushion to sit on (for forest stage area) or bolster

* your decorated eye mask each  for Saturday 5pm onwards, and your dress ups!
* Your clothing for camping, cater for warm hot windless weather and possible tropical rain showers
* smokers please bring a small can with a lid as ashtray to collect butts (and to remove after festival)

* BRING YOUR HAND DRUMS and other musical instruments for the Tribal Zone drumming around the Fire Pit on both nights, and also if you wish to perform at OPEN MIC, located within the Cacao Temple space.

* Your Dress Ups and 'light up' costumes ( glow stick, fairy light other light chains on battery) Adornments.
