Back To The 80s | Movies On The Rooftop - The Goonies

We are going back to the 80s with a special movie screening of comedy classic The Goonies on the rooftop of Greenwood Plaza! This event is FREE to attend, however you must register in advance for tickets.

The movie will be screened in the southern courtyard of Greenwood Plaza, in the beautiful rooftop gardens. Seating will be provided and you can bring your own food and drinks (non alcoholic). 

Attendees will be given access to  special offers from local food outlets.  Please scroll to the bottom of the page for details of specials from The Greenwood Chinese and The Hunter Gatherer.

 Spaces are limited to comply with COVID-19 restrictions so please book early to avoid disappointment. Please note this film is rated PG.

The movie will start  as the sun goes down at 7.20pm, gates will open at 6.45pm.

The Goonies is an adventure comedy film based on a story by executive producer Steven Spielberg, featuring Josh Brolin, Sean Astin and Corey Feldman. In the film, a band of kids who live in the "Goon Docks" neighbourhood of Astoria, Oregon, attempt to save their homes from foreclosure. In doing so, they discover an old treasure map that takes them on a wild adventure to unearth the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. During the adventure, they are chased by a family of criminals who want the treasure for themselves.
This film is 1 hour 54 minutes and rated PG.
