Back to the Future – How far has digital accessibility really come?
Join the Digital Access Team and our special guest, National Access Technology Advisor for the Vision Store, David Woodbridge.
In this free webinar we will be sharing how far digital accessibility has come and where it needs to go for content to be genuinely inclusive.
David will also be sharing his lived experience as a screen reader user.
David has been involved with evaluating technology for use by people who are blind or vision impaired covering both low and high tech equipment regarding:
- Microsoft
- Samsung
- Amazon
- Apple
He has been an Accessibility Ambassador for Apple Australia since 2009 and on the Microsoft Windows Narrator Board since 2018.
David produces a range of podcasts (since 2011) discussing Apple and other technologies, distributed through his own podcast (http://davidwoodbr.podbean.com).
In addition, He has a regular Talking Tech program (since 2013), which can be heard every Tuesday at 4:30 AEST on Vision Australia Radio Melbourne (available online). Stories supporting the program can be accessed on the Talking Tech blog at http://talkingtech.podbean.com.
