Backyard Food Sovereignty Workshop - South Coast NSW
Description
We are bringing our Backyard Food Sovereignty Workshop to the South Coast of NSW! This workshop allows you to kick-start your journey toward regenerative living, by teaching you how to grow abundant, resilient food gardens and how to build efficient closed-loop (composting) systems at home.
We are holding the workshop at a beautiful property that showcases regenerative living, with its food gardens, composting systems and more. There is camping available for accommodation on-site. Get in touch to secure accommodation.
You’ll learn how to design resilient systems, produce organic food using regenerative techniques in both a kitchen garden & a food forest setting, and how to turn waste into a valuable resource through different types of home composting systems. These skills will not only give you food & resources, but will cut your household costs as you spend less on food and garden inputs.
This course is meant for those who want to build food security and landscape resilience in the face of climate and political adversity. It is for those who want to understand how to have a reciprocal relationship with the land they’re on, becoming caretakers and also receivers of the abundance the land provides.
Our content can be applied to rural, semi-urban and urban blocks. All principles are able to be altered to suit your lifestyle.
