Description

We want a world where we're free to design and co-make the world. But most Story Gurus use tactics that prevent this from happening at scale. Bad Story Guru Medicine is a series of (two) workshops on recognising and doing something about craft misinformation.

To stop the cycle, we’ll go through common tactics used and ways to intervene. The goal of the workshops is to stop spreading misinformation ourselves, be free to draw inspiration from any source without taking on the oppressive ideas, develop our unique storytelling gifts, enable skills in deliberate meaning design, and to nurture a world where good medicine is the default.

It's for storytellers (film, TV, games, literary, performance) -- any creatives -- and those who apply story design. For educators who want to avoid spreading misinformation about storytelling and the world. And...anyone who wants to come!

If you can't make any of the scheduled times but are keen, let us know on the Want List: https://nextworldnarrative.fillout.com/wantlist
