Always wanted a designer handbag? Here is your chance to look good and do good at the same time! 100% of raffle proceeds will fund our grief support programs for bereaved mums after pregnancy and baby loss.
Foremost among them is our memorial portrait service. A portrait drawing can achieve many things a photo cannot - particularly if this photo has been hastily shot through a blur of tears in hospital on a shoddy phone camera.
Thousands of bereaved parents in Australia have photos of this kind as the only pictures of their baby. A memorial portrait gives these mums a chance to curate their baby's memory, choosing what to show and what not to, whom to feature and how.
In this way, a confronting photo can become a treasured commemorative keepsake that can be openly displayed in the home.
Co-designed with parents and lovingly hand-drawn by one of our resident professional artists, our memorial portraits are much-loved mementos of babies lost to miscarriage, stillbirth or neonatal death.
A Possum Portrait will be one of only a few images a bereaved mum has of her baby. We're making it a good one.

The raffle is open to:
individuals aged 18 years or older.
legal residents of NSW, VIC, QLD and TAS.
International entries or entries from the Australian states or territories of WA, SA, NT and ACT are invalid and will be refunded.

The Early Bird Prize is the Oroton "Romy" barrel bag in bright red, worth $449.
Enter the raffle before October 15th, 5pm to be eligible for the Early Bird draw. The winner will be announced online on this webpage on October 16th at 5pm.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This raffle is conducted by Possum Portraits, ABN: 25 327 978 344, for the benefit of Possum Portraits Inc.
Eligibility: Entry is open to residents of NSW, VIC, QLD and TAS aged 18 years or older. Residents of WA, SA, NT and ACT are not eligible to enter. Any tickets purchased by residents of these states and territories will be invalidated and refunded.
Promotion Period: The raffle opens at 9:00 AM AEST on Tuesday, 1 September 2026, and closes at 11:59 PM AEDT on Monday, 30 November 2026.
Prizes: There are 10 distinct luxury handbag prizes to be won. First prize is a Giorgio Armani handbag valued at $3,000 retail. The total prize pool at retail value is $11,814. The additional Social Media Giveaway Prizes are worth $1,239. Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash.
The Draw: The random draw via a raffle drum will take place on Saturday, 5th December 2026 at 05:00 PM AEDT at 3/29 Martin Street, Brighton, VIC 3186.
Winner Notification: Winners will be notified via phone and email within 2 days of the draw. Winner names will also be published on our official website www.possumportraits.org/bagsforbabes for a minimum of 28 days following the draw.
Permits: no permits are required in VIC, NSW, QLD and TAS for this raffle.
Prizes cannot be posted internationally. Prizes will only be posted to an Australian address.
