The Still Night - New Moon Hike
Event description
🌑 The Still Night – New Moon Coastal Hike
Event Leader - Taryn
Introducing a magical night from our new After Dark series…
Distance: Approx. 8km
Pace: Relaxed to Mid
Theme: Inner Calm + Trusting the Unknown
There’s something profoundly powerful about hiking in the dark without the moon to guide you. On this 8km twilight hike along the windswept back beach, we’ll move through nature under the quiet, invisible presence of the New Moon.... a night made for stillness, reflection, and trust.
The New Moon marks the beginning of a new lunar cycle, a blank canvas. It invites us to tune inward, embrace the unknown, and gently plant intentions without needing all the answers. It’s a time to honour what hasn’t yet taken shape, and to walk forward with a little more trust in where you're going.
With only the glow of our headlamps and the sound of the ocean beside us, you’ll find yourself naturally drawn inward...calm, centred, and present.
Midway through the walk, we’ll pause for a warm cacao and a 10-minute mood meditation, holding space for quiet reflection and intention-setting beneath the dark sky.
This is a hike for those craving stillness, spaciousness, and soulful connection.
