Finding balance

This Auckland Climate Festival, join Co-Benefits in finding balance both on the mat and off it in the face of our changing climate.

In collaboration with The Space, we are hosting a koha-based morning of yoga, meditation and talks centred on managing climate stress.

Not burnout

With 2/3 of people experiencing eco-anxiety, making the time to ground ourselves and focus on our hauora (health and wellbeing) is more important than ever. No one can act sustainably from a place of burnout.

Research shows that yoga and mindfulness can help reduce stress, improve physical and mental health, increase solutions-based thinking, and encourage a holistic worldview. That makes them valuable tools in our response to the climate crisis and practical ways to turn our angst into action.

Long term, you can’t care for the planet unless you also care for yourself. That's why we’re encouraging you to take time this Auckland Climate Festival to stop doom scrolling climate news and get active with us.

About the event

The morning is free and open for everyone, but registration is essential. We will send you the link closer to the event.

When registering, you have the option to insert a koha as the 'amount' per ticket if you're feeling generous (or you can just put $0).

We're a nonprofit and all donations received are used to fund impactful climate action projects in frontline communities. Every $1 donated to our fund saves one native tree’s worth of emissions and creates up to $25 of socio-economic value in vulnerable communities. You can read more about the projects we support here.

About Co-Benefits

Co-Benefits is a collective of everyday Kiwis crowdfunding impactful climate action. Our transparent online giving platform makes it easy to fund low-carbon projects in frontline communities and positively impact the planet.
