We're excited to be partnering with the Office of Small and Family Business and the South Australian Hair & Beauty Association to deliver the next workshop in our Wellbeing Masterclass Series.

BALANCING YOUR BUSINESS AND LIFE

Running a business isn't easy, especially in a changing world and during times of uncertainty. Balancing the demands of a small business and life in general can feel stressful, overwhelming, and exhausting.

In this interactive, fun, and engaging workshop, you will network and connect with other business owners to explore ways you can support your well-being and that of your team or employees. We will collectively share and problem-solve while learning essential skills and strategies specific to your beauty therapy, make-up, or nail tech business.

This workshop has been developed in collaboration with the South Australian Hair And Beauty Association to address challenges common to your industry, including:

Understanding vicarious trauma - what it is and how it may impact you
How to protect your physical and mental energy in a high-touch workplace
Setting boundaries for clients and staff
Practical skills to support your mental health and wellbeing
Where to go to seek further help and resources.

These workshops are subsidised through funding from the Office of Small and Family Business.

ABOUT YOUR FACILITATOR

This program is designed and facilitated by Bel Ryan from Ignite Wellbeing Co. A highly experienced workshop facilitator and mental health clinician with over 20 years of experience Bel brings a unique combination of lived experience, trauma-informed practice, mental health training, art therapy, and counselling to her workshops.
