We're excited to invite you to a special walk designed especially for those new to Walk Mornington Peninsula or hiking in general. If the brisk pace has felt a bit daunting, this is the perfect opportunity for a more relaxed stroll! We can’t wait to meet you, so come join us as we explore the beautiful Greens Bush. You’ll absolutely love it, and I’m confident that the 5 km will fly by, leaving you eager to discover even more! See you there! 😊✨
Join us for a breathtaking adventure through Greens Bush in the Mornington National Park! Immerse yourself in the beauty of this stunning natural haven, where wildlife abounds. Spot kangaroos, echidnas, and a variety of birds as we stroll beside the serene Main Creek. As we venture deeper into the lush forest, surrounded by enchanting fern gullies and eucalypt trees. Keep your eyes peeled for koalas—we’ve seen a few in this area! With numerous trails to explore, we’ve carefully planned a beautiful route for you to enjoy.

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THE WALK:
- Some inclines
- Lots of steps
- Uneven ground
- Exceptional fern gullies
- Great people
- Improved fitness
- NO TOILET
WHAT TO BRING:
- Water
- Snack. Ie: Banana, high protein snack, Jam sandwich.
- Electrolyte energy drink
WHAT TO WEAR:
- A good pair of walking shoes is necessary, which could be hiking shoes or boots. It is recommended to avoid jogging runners as they may not provide enough grip, although it is not a strict requirement. No open toe shoes.
- Decent socks. Ie: a mix of wool, nylon & elastane. Non bulky (Visit hiking stores)
- Compact jacketÂ
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
This walk is NOT suitable for children under 10 years old, babies in carriers or for people who do not walk more than 5km’s at a time. This is a National Park, therefore no dogs or animals allowed. All children above 10 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
