Choose your clay piece, learn the art of Raku and experience firing your own piece in a custom built open pit.  

This workshop invites participants to glaze and fire their own dragon eggs, medieval-inspired bowls, and pots in an interactive experience that celebrates the alchemy of clay and flame.Led by experienced ceramic artists Gary Hambleton & Japneet Keith, this workshop will honor the medieval spirit of craftsmanship, inviting attendees to bring their creations alive with Raku firing, a dramatic and spontaneous technique that has captivated potters for centuries.

Workshop Experience
Participants will: Select a bisque-fired pottery piece (a dragon egg, medieval bowl, or pot).Apply Raku glazes under guidance.Engage in the Raku firing process, witnessing the flames, smoke, and transformation of their pottery.Take home their finished medieval-inspired clay masterpiece.

This Raku experience is designed to bring together creativity, fire, and medieval traditions, allowing participants to engage with pottery in a hands-on, magical way.
