Ballarat Community Meetup
Description
Ballarat Community Meetup
We’re visiting Ballarat in September and hosting a free Community Meetup.
This is an opportunity for everyone from the region with lived and living experience of mental health challenges to come together in a safe, welcoming space.
You can share your experiences and discuss the issues that matter most to you. Or you can simply listen to others and enjoy the sense of belonging that comes from being around people who understand what it’s like to live with mental health challenges in regional communities.
What to expect:
A communal dinner
Story sharing and discussion led by locals
Space to express your ideas about mental health reform
A chance to meet our team and learn about our systemic advocacy
An introduction to our self-advocacy resources (Taking Charge and Navigating My Way).
Information about membership, training and other ways you can get involved.
