The ageless art of balloon twisting may only have been around since the 1930's, or could date all the way back to ancient Aztecs. Regardless of its actual origin, the technique of fashioning an ordinary balloon into an array of other objects and creatures has amused and amazed people of all ages for a loooong time.
The process of learning how this is done can be good fun - especially when someone as fun and engaging as Bippy teaches it! Her Sunday, September 22nd Unity Hall Kids program provides each child balloons and guidance on how to transform them into dogs, swords and rocket ships!
This free-to-attend event for children age 5-12 runs from 3-4pm and concludes with Ice Cream Sundaes. Children attending must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This free program is made possible by member support and a grant from Stewart Shops Holiday Match.
