Join us for a big ol' Sunday session for you long weekend with a bunch of Sydney's most respected DJs traversing the realm of funk, house, footwork, dnb and you name it.
Diola
KRYSTEL DIOLA is a name that has been in the music industry over the last 10 years, emerging as a spoken word/hip hop artist, to joining a minimum 6 piece jazz funk band called 5 Coffees as MC, singer and guitarist, departing the band to starting her own PR and Events company called Behind The Front in 2014 curating specialized soul music events with local and international artists.
Edseven
Armed with a unique ear, deep collection and a skill for combining diverse sounds, Sydney's edseven has built a solid reputation as a dj over the last 15 years as well as a producer/remixer and more recently as a promoter.
Jusslikedat
DJ Juzzlikedat AKA JuzzOne was a keen collector of wax at 14 years old. Witnessing the evolution of Hip Hop, his passion for Funk and Jazz inspired him to travel through the many era’s of black music from the late 60′s to more recent digital sounds. As a beat maker/producer, he's also a member of the Blu Collective (Blu Collective Records) and has been spinning records in Sydney for over 18 years
DJ Naian
Hailing from Northern NSW, DJ Naian moved to Sydney to study dance at NAISDA Dance College and has broadcast on Koori Radio on and off for 20 years. DJ Naian got his DJ practice in on hours upon hours of live broadcasts.
DJ Naian most recently performed at Heaps Gay's Roadwerk street festival, but has played at Edge Greenway, Big Dance Sydney, MCA Art Bar, Vivid Sydney, Love Wins Boomalli Aboriginal Artists Co-op, Liquorice All Sorts Mardi Gras, and countless Koori Radio outside broadcasts. They are also taking on Interplanetary Pleasures with Honey Point and Planet Trip soon for Vivid and it's going to be a sick - be sure to check it out.
