BANDS BELLS & BLESSINGS, a community event dedicated to celebrating the power of music, creativity, and compassion. Happening on December 21, 2024, at The Summit Toledo, this event aims to uplift individuals with disabilities for the holiday, help maintain local our Youth Music Wellness program for the upcoming year, and educate our community on health and welfare for minority’s. 

Why Attend? 

This year, we’re focusing on TWO MAJOR IMPACTS

1. We are asking the community to assist in providing Christmas gifts to individuals who may otherwise feel overlooked during the holidays. Many of these individuals reside in facilities or agency homes without family support, and your contributions will help bring joy and dignity back into their lives. Your attendance and generosity will also support our dedicated home healthcare and direct support professionals, who often wish to give gifts to their patients, but face challenges in doing so without risking their own jobs and finances.

2. We are asking the community to assist in keeping our Youth Music Wellness program and creative programs alive. Music is a proven therapeutic benefit that helps with stress anxiety, and depression. Music also has the power to heal, and is now known as a beneficial health benefit. Your support enables us to offer music programs and create new opportunities for our youth today. Our youth program not only nurtures talent, but it also instills confidence and encourages self-expression. Your contribution will assist in maintaining the daily functions and operations of the program, which include comprehensive experiences such as Annual Showcases, consistent music and voice coaching, major auditions for future jobs for our youth, update instruments and equipments, daily food expenses, traveling expenses, and so much more.

Engaging Discussions:

Participate in podcast style conversations with representatives from health and wellness, disability services, and youth programs, highlighting the importance of support and advocacy.

Live Music: 

Experience the some of Toledo's best live performances, including a special saxophone set and a few special guest artist, ready to give you an experience you’ll be sure to enjoy!

Karaoke Contest:

Ready to show off YOUR skills? Then "Sign Up" to participate in the karaoke contest. Winner receives a SPECIAL PRIZE from The Glow Foundation

Fashion Show:

Celebrate & Support some of our local designers and showcase creativity in a vibrant fashion segment.

Community Spirit:

Join us in creating a warm and welcoming environment where everyone feels valued and included.
