The Illawarra Local Aboriginal Land Council has been working to restore endangered Bangalay Sand Forest on the Windang Peninsula in partnership with Wollongong City Council and with funding from the New South Wales Government through its Environmental Trust.
This vegetation is not only vital habitat for endangered species, but also holds cultural significance for local Aboriginal people.
This event is limited to 15 participants so bookings are essential.Â
We will be following Covid safe and social distancing protocols on the evening.Â
All children must be accompanied by an adult.
