Bankstown Poetry Slam September Workshop

Spring has sprung, which means it’s the perfect time to sprout a poem 🌱

This month’s workshop is again co-facilitated, this time by our very own Bilal Hafda and Antoinette Luu!

Open to writers of all ages, levels and experiences.

Spaces are limited and registration is essential.

ABOUT

Join us as we guide you through the tips and tricks of the writing process that will help you take your work from the seed of an idea into a fully grown and realised spoken-word poetry piece, ready to be shared on stage. Learn from Bilal, artistic director of Bankstown Poetry Slam and author of An Army of Light, and Antoinette, 2025 Grand Slam Champion and four-time National Youth Poetry Slam finalist. Old and new work is welcome. Come with a poem you’ve already written, or join and write something brand new!
