Banshee Tree w/ Derek Abt

Join us at The iNDIGO Room at iAM MUSIC for a night of genre-bending live music featuring Banshee Tree with special guest Derek Abt!

Banshee Tree

Banshee Tree is an indie psychedelic pop/rock band blending sharply written songs, jazz-inspired guitar solos, saxophone textures, and grooves that nod to the dance floor.

Over nearly a decade, the band has continued to evolve its sound, moving freely between psychedelic rock, indie pop, jazz, and groove-driven improvisation. That fusion reaches a new peak with Bad Luck, a restless and unapologetically diverse album that captures a celebrated band chasing down new horizons.

Expect adventurous musicianship, infectious grooves, and a live show that can move from intricate and atmospheric to explosive and energetic.

Derek Abt

Opening the night is Derek Abt, a multi-instrumentalist, sonic storyteller, and dynamic live looping artist whose performances blend funk, soul, electronic music, and heartfelt songwriting.

Building entire soundscapes live on stage, Derek layers guitar, bass, keys, percussion, and vocals to create performances that move between intimate melodic moments and deep, dance-driven grooves.

His recent releases, including “Dreamin” and “Time With You,” continue to push beyond genre boundaries, pairing uplifting songwriting with rhythms designed to move both body and soul.

Together, Banshee Tree and Derek Abt make for a night built around musical exploration, improvisation, groove, and seriously creative live performance.
