Crossing A Bar? We Can Help

We all know that nothing beats local know-how. And there's no better example than when it comes to bar crossings. Luckily, we've got some local legends from around the country who are going to share their tips, tricks and inside knowledge about crossing bars in your area, it's casual and free. This seminar will be led by our experienced volunteers from Coastguard Hokianga and our mates at the Hokianga Big Game and Sports Fishing Club.

With the help of the team at the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club, we are running this event in the Bay of Islands specifically for any east coast boaties who want to go fishing out west this summer.
