Bar Tog & Cecilia Lopez:

BarTog and Cecilia Lopez are two of the most radical and unique voices coming from the Buenos Aires improvisation scene. The combination of Tog’s work with voice and turntable and Lopez’s idiosyncratic approach to analogue electronics, processing and instrument building gives the duo a distinct and visionary sound. Both improvisors have developed very different musical vocabularies that combine in a fluent dialogue oscillating between dark tones, hectic vocalizations, trashy beats and humorous hints that will very likely surprise the audience.

Ben Bennett:

Ben Bennett is an improvising percussionist who plays drums, membranes, and self-made instruments, which are combined with each other in various mutable arrangements, and played by striking, friction, breath, and other techniques. Although his instrument and music could both be described as unorthodox, they retain the essence of the modern drumset, and are a distillation of diverse musical traditions. He has toured North America and Europe, playing with different groups, ad-hoc collaborations, and solo.

Kyle Press & Paul Walker duo:

Kyle Press performs improvised, amplified, and affected soundscapes of multiphonics and overtones on vocals and saxophones. He has performed with the groups Love Club, Impressionist, OhBree & others. He's also am active participant in Philly’s vibrant free jazz / improvisation scene, where he has reliably pushed against the more academic trappings of the genre; focusing on creating walls of sound rather than re-contextualizing jazz/classical norms in an improvisational environment.

Paul Walker is an electronic musician and experimentalist based in Philadelphia. He played guitar and sang backup vocals for the synth-punk trio SGNLS, and played guitar and synhs in West Philly’s own Lesser Known Neutrinos. His solo project Clock Issue, has released two albums.
