☕ Teen Barista Intro Course ☕
Looking for a fun, practical activity for your teen that also builds real-world job skills?
This hands-on beginner barista session is designed for ages 13–18 and gives young people the chance to learn how to make café-style coffee using a real professional commercial coffee machine.
Perfect for teens looking to build confidence, try something new, or add practical hospitality experience to their resume before applying for their first job.
The workshop is run by Belinda, who has spent many years in the coffee industry and previously served as a judge in the National South Africa Barista Championships.
During the session, participants will:
• Learn the basics of coffee and espresso making
• Use a real commercial coffee machine
• Get hands-on experience steaming milk and making coffee
• Build confidence using professional café equipment
• Learn practical skills that look great on a resume for first jobs in hospitality
To make sure every participant gets maximum time on the machine, sessions are kept intentionally small with a maximum of only 4 participants per group.
